20th Century Fox approached Lightwave – a company who specialises in experiences influenced by biometrics and physiological responses – to assist in promoting their film The Revenant by creating an immersive experience at the US premiere screening.


I was set with the task of taking the raw biometric data (heart rate, electrodermal activity and motion) collected at the preview screening of the film from people wearing medical-grade wearable technology. The most challenging aspect of the task was likely displaying the information in a digestible and readable fashion whilst sticking with the 1820s survivalist, wintery theme.

The final product got extensive media attention, most notably the Daily Mail, Forbes, and Buzzfeed US.
